Question answered in Quora - After raising more than $200k, we have realised as a team that our idea

Look for a Pivot opportunity,

  1. Go back and talk to all the end users you showed your product or demoed your product - ask them what are the other problems they have in the same area where your product was providing a solution - Along with the talk, you can also follow the end user for a few days (or a week) starting from the time he enters the office/work and he leaves his office/work - the idea is to question every single thing he is doing in a sensible way (many would say that is how they have done that stuff right from the beginning, they don't know the reason for it)

  2. Then identify the top 3 problems that your team can work on

  3. Then build solutions one by one to the top 3 problems

  4. Go back to the users again, demo your solution, ask for the problems again and repeat the exercise

  5. The hope is the you can identify 3 to 4 solid problems you can address

  6. Then build a solid solution addressing those 3 to 4 problems

  7. Then go back to the market, prove how well you are solving the problem & the other cool things associated with your solution.
